About this piece
Mortal Kombat 4 is the PlayStation entry that moved the fighting series into 3D. It introduced weapons and new characters while keeping the brutal fatalities fans expect.
Collectors interested in how the series evolved will want this one, since it marks the shift away from the 2D games. The 3D transition gets mixed reviews and the graphics show their age, but it remains an important part of Mortal Kombat history on PS1.
