About this piece

Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings brings the classic real-time strategy game to the PlayStation 2. The controls were adapted for a gamepad, but the core historical empire-building, resource management and tactical warfare remain.

It has limitations compared to its PC counterpart, yet it is a commendable translation of a deep strategy game, with engaging campaigns and skirmishes for console players. An interesting piece for collectors of the series or of PS2 strategy titles.
